LR perustettiin vuonna 1985 Westfalenissa sijaitsevassa Ahlenin kaupungissa. Astumalla Itävallan ja Alankomaiden markkinoille kuusi vuotta myöhemmin LR määräsi suuntaviivat kansainväliselle menestykselle. Uusia markkinoita avattiin jatkuvasti.

Nykyään kuulumme maailmanlaajuisesti 32 maakohtaisella yhtiöllämme, 1000 työntekijällämme ja n. 300 000 itsenäisesti toimivalla myyntikumppanillamme Euroopan johtaviin suoramarkkinointiyrityksiin.
