Volkswagen hands over 600 Polos to LR

• 1.800 guests celebrated the car handover in the car city Wolfsburg
• Over 4.000 ‘LR Polos’ on German roads

It is the success story of the sporty little black number carrying the great green Aloe Vera imprint: the LR Polo logo.

The direct sales enterprises LR Health & Beauty Systems entered into a partnership with the automotive manufacturer Volkswagen in 2008 and expanded its car plan to include the compact ‘VW Polo’.

6,000 small compacts have since left the assembly line, over 4,000 of which were Polos destined for the German market. No-one could have expected such extraordinary figures: The VW Polo is extremely popular with our young sales partners and management trainees. Our excellent cooperation with VW over many years has been a success from day one,” said Dr. Jens M. Abend, CEO of LR Health & Beauty Systems about the record-breaking handover in the car city.

Germany’s Volkswaqen sales manager Werner Eichhorn elaborated further: „Since the start of our cooperation with LR Health & Beauty Systems in 2008, they have become one of Volkswagen’s key clients in Germany. The handover of 600 Volkswagen Polos in the customer centre in the car city Wolfsburg highlights our close and cooperative partnership”.

On Saturday 17 September, LR Health & Beauty Systems, VW's key customer, celebrated the delivery of 600 Volkswagen Polos as part of a big automotive handover in the car city Wolfsburg: From 7.00 am in the morning until 6.30 pm, 600 keys were handed over to happy new car owners. Dr. Jens M. Abend and
Manfred Wagner, LR Managing Director Germany, Austria and Switzerland, together with Olaf Ansorge, Director of Customer Management in the car city/Director of WA Sales for Germany's Volkswagen sales, and Francesco Forte, Director for the Central Region of Germany’s Volkswagen sales welcomed the 1,800 invited guests between 12 pm and 1.00 pm.

Also representing Volkswagen were Oliver Wessel, Manager of Volkswagen Navarra from Spain and Uwe Scholz, Sales Director for Volkswagen Leasing’s key clients. Christoph Maaßen, Managing Director of VW Autohaus Potthoff in Hamm, responsible for service, dealing, sales and consulting.

In 2008 LR had already handed over its first 500 LR Polos under the motto “Germany drives LR”, thereby breaking the Guinness World Record with the greatest automotive mosaic.
