Aloe Vera Produktion Mischer

New Aloe Vera production goes into operation

At the beginning of 2017, the starting signal was given for the construction of Europe's most modern Aloe Vera production site in Ahlen. In less than a year, the large-scale project has been completed and goes into operation. From now on, the new machines are being tested so that the popular LR Aloe Vera Drinking Gels can be produced in the new year. The official opening will also take place in early 2018. The LR Visitor Day will be expanded to include the new production.

The construction of the new Aloe Vera production facility in Ahlen is progressing at a tremendous pace. The façade is now completed, the outer scaffolding has recently been dismantled. Functionality and modern design go hand in hand here. By its completion in December, the building will be the most modern production facility for Aloe Vera products in Europe.

The construction works inside the building are in full swing. At the end of October, the huge mixing machine used for the production of the Aloe Vera drinking gels will be installed.

The Aloe Vera care line LR ALOE VIA has been on the market for two months now. The new brand and the tailor-made sales concept have sparked great enthusiasm among the international LR sales partners.

One month after the launch, the sales figures of the Aloe Vera products increased by 10 % compared to the previous year. Since its launch in 1995, the car concept of LR Health & Beauty has developed into an absolute success model. Already more than 17,500 cars were sold to sales partners in 28 countries. Only a few months to go: At the end of the year, the most modern production plant in Europe will go into operation for LR Aloe Vera products. Until then, the work is in full swing.

The popular LR Aloe Vera drinking gels will be produced in the new Aloe Vera production site at Porschestraße in Ahlen. Quality has top priority. The highest hygienic standards apply at the production site. The tanks used for the production of the Aloe Vera Drinking Gels are manufactured individually; there are no ready-made solutions here. The dimensions are huge. Each of the three high-tech containers is 6.5 metres high with a capacity of 39,000 litres. The machinery corresponds to the latest state of the art. Transparent insights into our production

The external façade has been completed. Now the interior design of the new Aloe Vera production site in Ahlen is in progress. All individuals involved in the project are working at full speed to have the project completed by the end of this year. One of the highlights is the glazed 40m corridor - the skywalk - which runs parallel to the production building.

This corridor allows an insight into the production so visitors can follow the individual processing steps of the Aloe Vera Drinking Gels live - from mixing to filling. Our CEO Dr. Thomas Stoffmehl reports regularly on the progress on his Facebook page.

LR attaches great importance to optimally supporting its sales partners in their business development. On 10 and 11 June, an international Junior Team Leader Academy took place in Hamm, which was all about a successful LR career.

LR Finland celebrates its 20th anniversary

LR is one of the leading direct sales companies in Europe and is active in 28 countries - also in Scandinavia. This year, LR Finland celebrates its 20th anniversary.

"In order to provide the best possible support for our sales partners in Finland, we have focused our activities on support opportunities," says Markus Rieker, Vice President of Region 4 at LR Health & Beauty. Last year, the online shop, which was long awaited by the partners, went live. In addition, the Club 1000 was created for top partners. They will receive special trainings for the establishment of their structure, for instance. Cornerstone ceremony for LR’s Aloe-Vera production site in Ahlen

Preparations for the construction of the new aloe vera production site of LR Health & Beauty are in full swing. On 7 April 2017 the cornerstone ceremony took place on the premises at Porschestrasse with all involved including representatives of the City of Ahlen.

“I am very pleased that the construction works start now. The new production site is part of our sustainable growth strategy. In this way, we are reinforcing our claim “Made in Germany” with the highest quality standard and take account of the increasing demand of our aloe vera products”, said Dr. Thomas Stoffmehl, CEO LR Health & Beauty. In the past months clearing works were executed, and about 7,000 cubic metres of earth were excavated which corresponds to around 600 truckloads. LR Health & Beauty is one of the best providers of apprenticeship scheme in Germany. This is the result of a survey conducted by the German business magazines Focus and Focus Money in cooperation with the PR agency Faktenkontor that was published in the current issue (04/2017) of Focus magazine.

“We are very proud to receive this award. It is a great acknowledgement of our work,” says Barbara Wolff, HR Manager at LR Health & Beauty. The evaluation considered several factors, including apprenticeship success, as grades and hiring rates, as well as structural data such as support and mentoring programmes. 2016 was a successful year for LR, which is also evident from the publications in the media. "One of our goals in 2016 was to increase public awareness of the LR brand. Judging from the many articles that have been published, we have been successful,” said Dr. Thomas Stoffmehl, CEO of LR Health & Beauty. In total, LR was mentioned in over 1,500 contributions.

As varied as the company are the topics covered by the press. LR products are very well received in the media and were presented in numerous well-known magazines such as Für Sie, Freundin, Bild der Frau, Closer und Myself in 2016 - from the anti-aging system ZEITGARD to our LR fragrances through to the Aloe Vera products.

But the company and the LR business model were also extensively covered. Auto Bild, for instance, reported on the big LR car handover, the specialist magazine Markenartikel wrote a portrait of LR and Focus Money accompanied the project "CEO for 1 Day" as a cooperation partner.

In October 2016, Dr. Thomas Stoffmehl was elected Chairman of Seldia. The association represents the direct sales industry in Europe. In an interview with Handelsblatt, Dr. Thomas Stoffmehl gives an insight into the direct sales industry which has been booming for many years now. In Europe alone, the sector recorded more than 32 billion euros in sales in 2015, almost half of which was generated in Germany - with upward tendency. Europe is the third largest market after Asia and the USA. Direct selling is in line with the consumer’s spirit of the times. Today, customers want to be addressed and advised individually. Record donation at LR Global Kids Fund

Huge success for LR Global Kids Fund: the association achieved a record in donations last year: a total of around EUR 340,000 were raised for the good cause. Increase of 52 percent compared to 2015.

The number of sponsoring members also increased significantly compared to the previous year: from 500 in 2015 to 795, an increase of 59%. “We have advanced the development of the LR Global Kids Fund even further last year. The significant increase in members is a testament to the association’s great work. I am very proud of that,” said Dr. Thomas Stoffmehl, Chairman of the LR Global Kids Fund. The donations go to national and international charity projects that promote the talents and health of children and young people. New projects include the RTL children's homes in Stuttgart and Leipzig, which received EUR 100,000 from the LR Global Kids Fund last year.

With a turnover of approx. EUR 258 million, LR recorded an increase of 15 % (net of currency effects) compared to the previous year. In 2016, we developed more careers at LR worldwide than ever before. Thus, LR continues on the track for success.

The 17 year old student was “CEO for 1 Day” at LR Health & Beauty – a joint initiative of Focus Money and LR. A taut programme was waiting for the high school graduate: welcoming new employees, a CEO breakfast, a telephone conference with a top sales partner, a tour of the production site and a meeting at the LR Mediafactory. There was still time to have some fun, for instance at the kicker table. LR employees challenged the high school graduate and the CEO to a match. Our new 28-Days Body Mission has been on the market since the beginning of the year. LR nutritional experts have developed an overall concept that brings together all that is required for easy and healthy weight loss.
