LR moves to new offices at former colliery
LR Health & Beauty rents additional office space on the premises of Westfalen colliery
Ahlen, 16 February 2016 – The Ahlen-based cosmetics manufacturer LR Health & Beauty is going to move to new office rooms on the premises of the former colliery in Ahlen. Around EUR 850,000 were invested in the development and equipment of the rented area. “In the past years, the number of employees steadily increased so that our existing facilities are no longer sufficient. We searched for a location close to our headquarters. We now proudly call one of the formerly most significant places in Ahlen our new site and will happily fill it with new life in the future,” comments Dr. Thomas Stoffmehl, CEO and Management Spokesman, with delight. As soon as the conversion has been completed, the in-house PR Department of LR consisting of 24 employees from the areas of graphics, text production and print handling is going to move to the new, attractive offices. The lessor and developer of the overall area of 770 m² is Oliver Weigelt, CEO of the local company Weriflex GmbH & Co. KG. “It is great that LR decided in favour of the premises. I am looking forward to welcoming one of the largest employers in Ahlen on the former colliery site. Since December 2015, we have adapted the premises to the requirements of the company and engage in constant exchange with the responsible persons,” explains Oliver Weigelt. LR employs a staff of 1,100 worldwide, of which 600 alone at the Ahlen site.
