New bottling plant for higher capacity

LR Health & Beauty invests around EUR 500,000 in a new bottling plant

Ahlen (Germany), 7 November 2014 – An increased production volume and technical progress induced LR Health & Beauty to deploy a new bottling plant at the Ahlen site. The machine’s special feature: in contrast to the old bottling plant which was designed for processing of liquid products only, it is now also possible to bottle products with a semi-solid consistency, e.g. creams. Operations Director Lars Linnemann is very satisfied with the latest procurement: “The new plant is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and enables rapid modifications. Due to our great product variety, flexibility is our top priority, because it is the only way for us to meet the requirements of our markets. The new bottling plant also ensures optimum quality.” At present, more than 30 million products are manufactured per year. This is made possible by 56 employees who produce the different articles from the areas of health and beauty on a production area of 2,300 m².
